General Orders Amendment No. 34.
The following amendments are hereby made in General Orders -

3. General Order No. 411 is cancelled and the follow- C.S.O. No. ing substituted therefor:
6359/10.
"1. The Harbour Master shall have complete charge of all Governinent craft and shall make provision in the Harbour Department Estimates for all repairs, additions and replace- ments.
2. No Government launch shall be poses except with the consent of the subject to the following conditions :-
used for private pur. Harbour Master and
(a) Application for the use of a launch shall be for- warded by the Officer requiring the launch through the Head of his Department. Such application shall reach the Harbour Master not less than 48 hours before the launch is required and shall state :-
(1) Launch required,
(2) Time at which required and for what
period,
(3) Number of persons to be carried in
excess of the Crew,
(4) Purpose for which required,
(5) Destination.
(b) The applicant shall be personally responsible that
these conditions are complied with.
(c) The Coxswain is to be personally responsible for the safety of the launch and is on no account to be interfered with in the handling or the navigation of the launch.
(d) The applicant after using the launch shall make the necessary entries in, and sign the launch log before leaving the launch.
